Day 1

Mexico City
Mexico City Airport Private Transfer to Mexico City Hotel.
Our airport supervisor will greet you in the arrival hall of Mexico City International Airport. He will accompany you to your awaiting car and introduce you to the driver. The select hotels that we work with are between 5 and 15km from the airport and traffic depending can usually be reached within 30-45 minutes.
At arrival, you may check in and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

For dinner (not included but can be arranged), we will suggest a highly recommended kosher restaurant in Mexico City located just 15 minutes away from your hotel. Your driver will be available to take you to and from dinner tonight.

Day 2, Mexico City
Jewish Heritage Walking Tour / Mexico City Historic Center Tour with Museum of Memory and Tolerance (B)
Pick-up time and location: 9:00 am at your hotel lobby
Duration: 6-8 hours
Inclusions: Private transportation, bilingual guide, bottled water.
Today after breakfast, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a private transfer to Loreto Park, a gathering place for Jewish immigrants. Here you will meet your local guide expert on the subject and prepare for a 2 hours walking tour of the Jewish community. You will wander toward Jesus Mary Street, a street that was traditionally known for having grocery stores owned by immigrants, kosher butchers, bakeries, workshops and houses of Jewish characters such as the mohel, the caterer and the rabbi.
You will also stroll through various streets such as: Academia, Soledad, Loreto, Santísima, including a couple of “vecindades” or communities, which were housing units where Jews lived side by side; as your guide shares photos and
stories which have been told by immigrants. Lastly, you will visit the beautiful Nidje Israel Synagogue, an Ashkenazi temple that was influenced from the synagogue in Lithuania.
Upon completion of your Mexico City Jewish heritage tour, you will meet with your guide and be driven to the capital for a tour of Mexico’s Mesoamerican, Colonial and Revolutionary history while exploring the historic center of the capital. What
is now the heart of this modern city was also once the center of the Aztec world, Tenochtitlan. You will visit the Cathedral built upon the main Aztec temple by the Spanish conquistadors, as well as the painted representation of Mexico’s past by muralist Diego Rivera. Taking a walk along some of the center’s iconic streets, you will arrive at the Palace of Fine Arts where you can explore its varied architecture. It is also the theatre that famously hosts the Folkloric Ballet and is home to more murals by Diego Rivera.
To end the day you will also explore the Musuem of Memory and Tolerance on a privately guided tour to discover the
permanent exhibition of the holocaust with topics such as tolerance, dialogue, discrimination, human rights, the power of the media, the richness of diversity, acts that inspire, intolerable realities, amongst others.

Day 3
Mexico City
Private Full Day Tour to Teotihuacan Pyramids (B)
Pick-up time and location: 9am at your hotel lobby
Duration:
7-8 hours
Inclusions: Private transportation, driver, bilingual guide, bottled water .

Your personal, bilingual guide will meet you at your hotel and you will head on the 50 km journey (1 hour) to Teotihuacán,
which in Nahuatl means ‘the birthplace of the gods’. The site is very large, covering 83 square kilometers, and contains both a ceremonial center and residential areas. Your expert guide will lead you on an exploration of the area that echoes with the sound of Mesoamerican flutes played all around. You may also have a chance to climb the 65 m tall Pyramid of the Sun and/or the 43 m high Pyramid of the Moon and look out across the city and valley of Teotihuacán.
Upon completion of your exploration, you will be driven back to your hotel for the rest of the evening at leisure.
En route back to the city you will optionally visit the Monte Cristo Ex-Hacienda for lunch, a beautiful XIX century Casona.

Day 4
Mexico City
Private Full Day Culinary Experience with Market Tour at Casa Jacaranda (B & L)
Pick-up time and location: 9:00 am at your hotel lobby
Duration: 6-8 hours
Inclusions: All ingredients, tasters at the market, fruit snack, mezcal and wine with meal .
Today after breakfast, you will meet your driver in the hotel lobby for a private transfer to the meeting point (20 mins away) for your private culinary experience.
Accompanied by two locally renowned cooks you will have a cultural and culinary experience in the heart of one of Mexico City´s most artistic and dynamic neighborhoods – La Roma. The day begins in the morning next to the Medellin market where you will taste authentic Mexican tortillas made with traditional Nixtamal dough and learn how this vitamin rich food has spanned the test of time throughout Mesoamerica. Afterwards, you will walk into the market to discover the colors, aromas and deep-rooted tradition of an authentic Mexican market. With a shopping bag in tow, you will interact with
local merchants, taste spices, cheeses, ice cream, single origin coffee from Chiapas, and much more.
After tasting and selecting the best fresh ingredients for your menu you will enjoy a short walk to Casa Jacaranda, a
beautifully restored mansion where your hands-on cooking lesson begins. Generations-old culinary secrets and techniques are shared during this interactive gathering while you chop, grill, marinate and steam to create a 3-course menu with sauces and garnishes. Once completed you dine on your creations paired with Mexican wine and a tasting of craft Mezcal from Oaxaca. Upon completion of your delightful experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for the rest of the evening on your own at
leisure.

Day 5, Mexico City
Private Transfer to San Miguel de Allende visiting Bodegas De Cote Vineyard en route (B & L)
Pick-up time and location: 9am at your hotel lobby
Duration: 8-9 hours
Minimum: 4 persons
Inclusions: bilingual guide, entrance fees, bottled water, wine sampling, gourmet meal and a complimentary engraved glass with the Bodega de Cote’s logo
Today after breakfast and hotel check out, you will meet your private guide in the hotel lobby for a transfer to San Miguel de Allende. At about 3:15 mins down the road, your will stop at Bodegas de Cote in Queretaro for a 4:00 hrs local vineyard private experience with lunch and wine pairing. The vineyard was built based on ecological and sustainable design principles, it is owned by two brothers who share the passion for showing their visitors the unique experience of tasting and pairing a delicate Mexican wine. At arrival you will be joined by your local guide to begin your privately guided
tour of the vineyards property with 24 varieties of grape on a total of 40 acres. You will visit the winemaking facilities to learn about its process and receive exclusive access to the underground cellar.
Next you will enjoy a wine pairing experience led by your personal sommelier accompanied by your 3 course meal along with the presentation of each dish by the executive chef.

Upon completion, you will receive a complimentary engraved glass with the Bodega de Cote’s logo and be driven to San Miguel de Allende (1:30 min) by your personal driver. The estimated time of arrival to your hotel is approximately at five pm to enjoy the rest of the evening on your own at leisure.

barefoot stomping of grapes, a sense activity which will allow the juicing and fermentation to begin.

Day 6, San Miguel, Private Full Day City and Artisan Studio Tour (B)
Pick-Up Time and Location: 9am at your hotel lobby
Duration: 6-8 hours
Inclusions: Private, round-trip transportation, bilingual guide, entrance fees.
Your personal expert guide will meet you at your hotel at 9:00 am to start your day exploring the colorful historic center of San Miguel de Allende. You will visit the iconic central plaza, where locals come to gather and chat under the shade of the trees before going inside San Miguel’s famous pink church (Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel) that boasts gothic-style architecture. Next, you will visit art galleries and contemporary art studios at “La Aurora” and also prepare for an experience that will allow you to observe firsthand Mexican artisans working on their art and crafts, visiting the Institute of Culture to observe the students working on their art pieces. Admire the traditional and unique process of how rugs are made using wool, in the workshop of a local family’s home. And depending on time and intest you may also be able to visit the Cultural Center of arts school, a paper mache shop and the handicap artist studio of arts and crafts. This experience will be custom designed according to availability of the artisans and based on traveler’s particular interests.
Upon completion of your visit you will be taken back to your hotel for the rest of the evening on your own at leisure.
Day 7
San Miguel Full Day Private Transfer and City Tour in Guanajuato (B)
Pick-Up Time and Location: 9am at your hotel lobby
Duration: 7-8 hours
Inclusions: Private, round-trip transportation, bilingual guide, entrance fees
Your personal expert guide will meet you at your hotel at 9am and you will be driven to Guanajuato (80km,
1 hour 40 minutes). Here your guide will lead you in exploring the historical center, staring with a panoramic view over the city, taking in the interesting architecture and the plethora of colors. You will stroll the streets of the city with its underground passageways heading towards to the central square, visiting churches and museums along the way.
As your explore the city, its university, the Juarez Theatre and its tranquil plazas, your guide will tell you all about its rich history. The day will also include a visit to the house of muralist Diego Rivera where you will receive a special talk about his life and work, and no visit to Guanajuato is complete without passing by the narrow Alley of the Kiss, where you will learn about the love story that gives the street its name. Upon completion of your visit, you will be driven to your hotel in Guanajuato for final overnight, enjoy rest of evening at leisure.

Day 8 Guanajuato

Private Transfer to Leon Airport (B)
This morning after breakfast and hotel check out, you will meet your driver in the hotel lobby for a private transfer to the Leon Airport (27 mins, 29 kms) for your departure flight home.
