Day 1 – Arrival
Arrive to Tel Aviv airport on flight TBA. Meet and assist and transfer to your hotel.
Enjoy the rest of the day to relax, freshen up and tour on own.
Suggestions: Diaspora museum, Tel Aviv museum of Art, Lewinsky and/or Carmel market , Segway on the promenade, Tel Aviv port

Jaffa
Day 2 – Tel Aviv
After a fabulous Israeli buffet breakfast, meet your guide and start the day with a tour of the Independence Hall, where David Ben Gurion declared the State of Israel. Drive by Rothschild Blvd. and view the White City, on your way to Old Jaffa, walk around the old city with its picturesque alleys, pop into the many art galleries and stop by the flea market. End the day with a visit to Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1909. End the day with a visit to the Ayalon Institute, once an ammunition factory for the Hagana, the underground movement before May 1948.

Nachlat Binyamin
Day 3 – Tel Aviv
Begin the day with a visit to the Palmach Museum, an experiential museum covering the legacy of this elite striking force. Drive around the main streets of Tel Aviv, center of business and entertainment of Israel. Stop at Rabin’s Square, place of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Continue to the Carmel Market to experience the great sounds and smells of a Tel Aviv market preparing for the Shabbat. Stop by the nearby Nachlat Benyamin, the pedestrian street of the city with its musicians, hand made jewelry and artifacts. End the day at Sheinkin Road, the lively and colorful street especially known for it’s unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance.

Akko
Day 4 – Coastal Plain
Depart Tel Aviv after a short city tour along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct. Continue on via Mount Carmel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Haifa bay and the Golden domed Bahai shrine and gardens. Continue north to Akko (Acre) to explore the Knights’ Halls and underground city and crypt. Visit the Or Torah Tunisian Synagogue in Akko. Arrive at Rosh Hanikra, the most northern point on the coast to walk through the beautiful grottos carved by the sea. Drive to your hotel.

Safed
Day 5 – Safed & Upper Galilee
Drive to Safed, the city of mystics. Visit the synagogue of Rabbi Isaac Luria and Rabbi Joseph Karo, wander about the alleys, lanes and art galleries of the Old City of Safed. Drive North and stop by the quaint artistic Rosh Pina. Walk along the small streets. Enjoy a guided tour at Tel Hai, commemorating the heroism of the Hula valley. Drive to Metula, a serene northernmost town. Enjoy a view of the Hermon Mountain. End your day with a relief of tension at a shooting range.
Optional: Meet with soldiers on the northern border , visit a local winery incl lunch, golf cart for two at Agamon Hahula

Hamat Gader
Day 6 – Golan Heights
After breakfast we will ascend the Golan Heights and drive to Tel-Faher for an explanation of the Six Day War battles. Drive to Kibbutz El Rom to see the OZ 77 presentation which tells the story of the famous tanks battle which took place in the Six day war. Continue onto Katzerin, the Capitol of the Golan to watch an Audio Visual presentation “Kesem Hagolan” which will tell us the story of the Golan palace and hear about the zealots who defied the Roman Empire from this location. Visit the reconstructed 8th century Talmudic village at Katzrin. Finish the day with a visit to Hamat Gader, the extraordinary hot springs at the meeting point of three countries – Israel, Jordan & Syria. This site is also a magnificent park with archaeological remnants and the largest crocodile park in the Middle East.

Beit Shean
Day 7 – Upper Galilee
Explore the excavations of the beautiful Roman City of Beit Shean, also called “Scythopolis”, the biggest archeological park in Israel with beautiful excavations from Roman and Byzantine periods. Stop at Beit Alpha to visit the sixth-century synagogue mosaic features colorful folk-art style depictions a Holy Ark, menorahs, shofars, etrogs, lulavs and incense pans, all elements of Temple worship in Jerusalem, showing that Temple, though destroyed, was not forgotten. Another panel presents the biblical story of the offering of Isaac. Onto Gan Hashlosha, (Sachne) where you will have an opportunity to enjoy in the water springs located at the foots of the Gilboa mountain, the famous mountain on which King Saul was killed in the battle against the philistines. Continue via the Jordan valley to Jerusalem; view Jericho, considered the oldest city in the world on your way. We will stop at Mt. Scopus upon arrival in Jerusalem for a magnificent view of the city and a brief explanation about the capitol’s past and future.

Day 8 – Jerusalem Old City
Start the day with a magnificent panoramic view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives. Enter the City of David, where it is presumed to be the place where King David established his kingdom. Walk down Warren’s Shaft leading to the water tunnel. Continue to the new excavations of the central water drainage channel coming out at Robinson’s Arch at the new Southern Wall excavations (Davidson Center). Time permitting, visit the Archaeological Garden at this site as well. Walk through the Old City and see the restored Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall (HaKotel) and the colorful bazaars and the Cardo. End the day with a tour of the secret Rabbinical Tunnels (reservation made on own at 17:00) underneath the Temple Mount.

Yad Vashem
Day 9 – Jerusalem New City
Start the day with a visit to the quaint Ein Karem neighborhood and stop by the Marc Chagall stained glass windows at the Hadassah medical center. Drive to the Knesset for a guided tour of the Israeli Parliament. Continue for a moving visit to Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum that honors both Holocaust martyrs and the “Righteous Amongst the Nations” who have been recognized for their compassion and courage when risking their lives to save the lives of Jews – visit includes a tour of the new museum and the Children’s Memorial. Stop by the Mount Herzl National cemetery and visit the famous leaders who are buried here.
At night, go on own to the Sound & Lights show at the Tower of David which you have booked on own at 21:30

Shrine of the Book
Day 10 – Jerusalem New City
Start your day with a visit to the Israel Museum – Tour the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and see the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Enjoy a tour of the colorful and lively Machne Yehuda market and enjoy the hustle bustle of preparations being made for the Shabbat. Walk around the eclectic Nahlaot neighborhood, of the first neighborhoods inhabited out of the Old City walls, on your way to your hotel.
Optional: Shabbat of a lifetime experience – enjoying a Shabbat meal in a religious home, understanding the Jewish customs and enjoying the company of others

Masada
Day 11 – Masada & Dead Sea
Depart Jerusalem via the Judean Mountains and descend to the lowest place on earth. Enjoy a nature walk along the oasis of Ein Gedi and drive to the kibbutz to walk through the amazing desert botanical garden. Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to the magnificent cliff top fortress of Masada. Ascend via cable car to explore the remains of King Herod’s luxurious Enjoy lunch at one of the Dead Sea hotels, and then use of the hotel’s spa and the chance to enjoy a float in the salty waters of the Dead Sea. Drive to Mizpe Ramon and check into your hotel.

Camels in the desert
Day 12 – Arava
Drive to Mamshit for a one hour Camel riding experience and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent. Drive via the scenic Ma’ale Haakrabim on your way to the Arava valley. Enjoy an agricultural tour at Ein Hatzeva, one of the first settlements along the Arava Peace road. Drive back to Mizpe Ramon
Optional: Visit Kibbutz Lotan for an ecological experience, Stop by Kibbutz Neot Smadar, the desert oasis, and explore their unique lifestyle, visit the unique Arts’ Center, enjoy a taste of their desert organic wine, visit the Arandal ranch – a lone farm which has reinstalled a former army post and transformed it into a ranch which makes the most out of its olive and date orchids and who have created their own wine as well.

Ramon Crater
Day 13 – Ramon Crater, Ben Gurion’s Hut to Tel Aviv
Stop by the Mizpe Ramon visitor’s center to get a full explanation of this phenomenon. Enjoy a 2 hrs jeep ride in the crater. Drive north to Ovdat and visit the Nabataea city which was part of the famous Spice Trail. Continue to Sde Boker and visit Ben Gurion’s Hut and Grave. Continue to Tel Aviv and check into your hotel.

Day 14 – Departure
Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for your departure flight TBA
