Sophia, you did an excellent job in helping us plan the Jewish heritage trip of a lifetime that three generations of our family took this past summer. Our dream was to return to Vilna and walk in the footsteps of our ancestors before they emigrated to the U.S. in the early 1900’s. The fantastic itinerary you recommended, which included the Baltic States and Poland, was on target.
We spent the appropriate number of days in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Warsaw and Krakow and visited the major sights in each city. The hotels were first rate just as you had represented. Our trip was even more special, enjoyable and meaningful in the Baltic States because of the excellent guide that you arranged for us. Daniel, who resides in Vilna, was knowledgeable about every aspect our visit. He is a kind and special person with a great personality who we would highly recommend. The written itinerary included many historic sights and synagogues. In order to
personalize our trip and make our experience as meaningful as possible, you referred us to the archivist in Vilna. Through your recommendation we were able to view in person in the Vilna archives the birth and marriage records of our family going as far back as 1895. Our Jewish Heritage Trip turned into a Jewish Genealogy study for the entire family, which gave us the opportunity to learn about several generations of our family. Since Daniel lives in Vilna, we had the unique advantage of having a personal and unique experience of having our guide take us around the
city of our ancestors. His knowledge of history, with an expertise in our Jewish heritage, was outstanding. Daniel could not do enough to make our experience enjoyable and meaningful.
We highly recommend Sophia Kulich and her Jewish travel agency to anyone who is interested in planning a Jewish heritage trip.
Sophia, thank you for helping us plan the trip of a lifetime!!
