Day 2: Terezin Concentration Camp & Melník Castle

More than 90,000 prisoners were held here, and 160,000 Jews from 35 countries passed through the ghetto before being deported to extermination camps.

Afterward, continue to Melník Castle, about 30 km north of Prague. Overlooking the confluence of the Labe and Vltava Rivers, this historic site dates back to the 9th century and showcases the roots of early Slavic settlement in Bohemia.
