Georgia-Armenia Cultural Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi, Georgia

Pickup from Tbilisi International Airport (TBS). Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2: Tbilisi City Tour

Explore Narikala Fortress, Sulfur Baths, Metekhi Church, Great Synagogue, Sharden Street, Bridge of Peace, and Rustaveli Avenue. Welcome dinner with Georgian folk music. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3: Tbilisi – Gori – Borjomi – Bakuriani

Visit Stalin Museum, Uplistsikhe Cave Town, and Borjomi Park. Drive to Bakuriani ski resort (1650m elevation). Dinner and overnight in Bakuriani.

Day 4: Bakuriani – Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia – Bakuriani

Tour Vardzia Cave Monastery (12th c), Rabati Fortress and Museum. Return to Bakuriani. Overnight stay.

Day 5: Bakuriani – Kutaisi

Drive through Rikoti Pass. Visit Kutaisi Synagogue, Bagrati Cathedral, Gelati Monastery (UNESCO), and local market (optional). Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 6: Kutaisi – Oni – Kutaisi

Visit Oni Synagogue, Nikortsminda Cathedral (UNESCO), Barakoni Church, and Oni Museum. Return for folklore show. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 7: Kutaisi – Sataplia – Mtskheta – Tbilisi

Visit Sataplia Nature Reserve (dinosaur footprints, caves), and Mtskheta (Jvari Monastery & Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – UNESCO). Return to Tbilisi. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Tbilisi – Haghpat – Lake Sevan, Armenia

Cross into Armenia. Visit Haghpat Monastery (UNESCO) and Sevanavank Monastery by Lake Sevan (1900m). Enjoy fish lunch. Overnight by Lake Sevan.

Day 9: Lake Sevan – Noratus – Selim – Noravank – Khor Virap – Yerevan

Visit Noratus Cemetery (Khachkars), Selim Caravanserai (Silk Road), Noravank Monastery, and Khor Virap with Mt. Ararat views. Traditional Armenian dinner. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 10: Yerevan City Tour – Geghard – Garni

Tour Yerevan including Matenadaran Manuscript Museum (UNESCO), Geghard Monastery (UNESCO), Garni Pagan Temple, and participate in lavash baking. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 11: Yerevan – Etchmiadzin – Zvartnots – Yerevan

Visit St. Hripsime Church, Etchmiadzin Cathedral (Mother See of Armenian Church), Zvartnots Cathedral ruins (UNESCO), and Yerevan Brandy Factory. Shop at local food market. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 12: Departure from Yerevan

Transfer to Yerevan Airport (EVN). End of tour.
