Kosher Dining on Oceania and Regent Cruises
Kosher Meals on Oceania & Regent Cruises — Complete Guide to Kosher Dining at Sea
Oceania and Regent ships do not operate a dedicated kosher kitchen, but they do offer certified pre-packaged kosher meals onboard. All kosher meals are double-wrapped for heating inside non-kosher ovens, maintaining kosher integrity during preparation. Guests may also request an expanded kosher menu with 90-day advance notice, which includes additional appetizers, soups, entrées, and desserts.
Frozen kosher meat can be stored and sliced onboard, however kosher preparation is not guaranteed. Guests seeking full kosher supervision will require a full-ship kosher charter, which allows for complete kashrut compliance, kosher galley setup, kosher-only cooking equipment, and rabbinical oversight.

Kosher Meal Heating & Serving Procedures
All kosher foods arrive double-sealed and certified, requiring thawing before serving. Meals are oven-safe and microwave-safe.
| Method | Instructions |
|---|---|
| Oven Heating | Heat at 250°F for 45 minutes (do not exceed 350°F). |
| Microwave | Vent the packaging, then heat 1–5 minutes or until hot. |
| Required Internal Temperature | 180°F for full quality and flavor. |
Meals are served in their original containers, presented on regular china covered with a paper doily and a plastic cover. Heating is not performed under kosher supervision.
Breakfast Service
Kosher breakfast may be enjoyed in the Terrace Café or Grand Dining Room. U.S. Kellogg’s cereals, fresh whole milk, smoked salmon, and UHT kosher milk (when available) are typically kosher by default. Meals are served with disposable plasticware or newly kashered silverware.
Lunch & Dinner Service
Guests select from pre-packaged kosher entrées that are reheated and served sealed. Meals are presented on china with coverings and disposable utensils unless alternative arrangements are requested.
Frozen Kosher Protein Availability
Limited stock may include:
- Kosher Lamb Rack
- Kosher Turkey Breast
- Kosher Veal Rack
- Kosher Beef Rib Eye
- Kosher Chicken Fryers
Note: Meat is kosher, but preparation is non-kosher.
Expanded Kosher Program — Groups of 20+ Guests
For groups, breakfast and lunch may be arranged in a blocked specialty dining venue. This program features custom “Ready-to-Eat” bulk kosher catering, including challah, frozen sides, kugel, ratatouille, rice dishes, and more.
Menus can be pre-selected in advance. Shabbat-friendly service is available with ovens and heating switched off from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. Additional program fees may apply, depending on the extent of the kosher services requested.

- Manischewitz White Wine
- Baron Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon
- Baron Herzog Sauvignon Blanc
Full-Ship Kosher Charter (Best Option for Strict Kashrut Travelers)
For guests requiring strict kosher supervision, the only fully compliant solution is a complete kosher ship charter. This allows for:
- Rabbi-led kashrut supervision
- Koshering of all kitchens and food preparation zones
- Separate kosher cooking equipment
- Kosher-only food sourcing
- Comprehensive crew training in kosher standards
This level of service requires extensive planning and coordination in partnership with the cruise line and the supervising Rabbi.
